Eliptical mirror position correction based on caustic analysis

Abstract MOGNO is the micro and nano tomography dedicated beamline at Sirius, operating three specific energies: 21.5, 39.0, 67.7 keV. Its optics composed by a set of mirrors (pre-KB + KB set), delivering 3 mrad cone beam, coming from 100x100 nm 2 main source. The pre-KB mirror must be aligned to produce secondary source 0.3 x 800.0 µm , however, such an alignment challenging, as deviations it adverse effects on beamline’s source, enlarging it. Moreover, evaluate nanofocus novel strategy required. Here, proposed use fluorescence signal thin Au line deposited Si substrate scanning in focus region along horizontal plane, making possible visualize beam’s caustic. Furthermore, size, via analysis gradient caustic direction perpendicular beam propagation. Using described strategy, was measure size 603±103 668 ± 114 limited control issues experienced during measurements.
